Why bother? At this point Hearthstone is so filled with random BS that it's not even worth it to pay to win.
It's pointless. Even more so since those are classic pack and the power creep already made most of the original cards obsolete anyways.

If it's your money there's really no valid argument against spending it on something you enjoy. Classic packs are still the way to go. The only thing to consider is getting adventures especially Naxx can get you farther than 50 packs if you haven't got them.

Classic cards are worthless.
You are better off buying Naxx, then buying all GVG. That can fill a lot of decks. Classic packs are worthless with all the new free packs. I get 2-3 free classic packs a week because I can't choose to get anything but them from tavern or watch & learn.
If this was like 20-20-20 for 50 i would buy it all day long.
