Most of my video games bought are during game sales on GoG and Steam. I'm a 30yr old man living alone wishing he had a qt 3.14 to spend the nights with.
I don't have time to beat games when they release and buying vidya for 50% - 70% off just works more with my life style. Games bought in sales don't feel like wasted money when they sit there unplayed for months. For example, I still haven't beaten Fallout 4 and I got that on release day, been playing daily too.
