If you want some mecha stuff theres the robotech battlecry game for ps2/xbox/gamecube.
For handheld stuff the gundam and macross games whih are mostly on psp but can be emulated.
Infinite space on the ds is pretty good if you want some jrpg elements and somethig akin to gurren lagann in scale
There's also the A.C.E. (another century's episode) games on ps2 and one on ps3
Zone of the enders is pretty good too but the sequel is Absolutely amazing(play the hd collection it's on both the 360 and ps3 but I've heard the ps3 version has a patch to fix problems with the games).
If you don't mind the lego starwars games they're pretty fun for killing time if you want to play through the movies story As an action adventure platformer rpg while searchig for collectibles.
Destiny if you want a shooter with an easy to get into multiplayer with open worlds,however you'l need to buy dlc to get the best experience it should be cheaper by now though.
The first 3 halo games along with odst and reach in case you haven't played em yet
