Assassin's Creed Unity. Got the platinum trophy even, yet I enjoyed very little of it. I liked the main character and the romance, but that was about it.

It was one great big QTE hallway without a single likable or interesting character to justify how unfun it all was. When the gameplay was acceptable, such as the stealth-optional area in the woods or whenactually raiding fucking tombs, it was never as good as other games that were made entirely of that sort of gameplay.

What did you hate most? For me I might have to say it was how boring the gameplay was. The combat is too simple, and the animations too boring. All the objectives got super repetitive and the stealth and free running was way too unintuitive for me

it was all well and good until about the half way point. Then all of a sudden they drop all the subversion of jrpg cliche and go right back to the old story themes they were trying to avoid. Also around the same time you are able to start chaining light attacks with any character, which immediately makes every single one of your party members completely over powered. Im talking with no extra grinding my teddy bear could kill the eagle boss solo in like 2 rounds. Even worse is the stupid high random encounter rate begins to really grate for me by then, and a bunch of the "puzzles" involve a lot of running around and thus random encounters with trivial enemies. Also the ending is stupid as fuck.
But I finished it, so there.
Bioshock Infinite. I was so bored, but I knew the game was short so I soldiered on. Same with the first Mass Effect and Dragon's Dogma (which I ended up really liking afterwards).

Most people that bought DS2 because they loved the setting, lore, boss designs, and level design of DS. DS2 managed to fuck up the setting, boss designs, level design, and especially the lore of the first game. Before anyone even brings it, DS2 is a great game on its own. But when a game tries to be its own thing but constantly calls back to predecessor, and constantly fucks up the already establish lore of the predecessor while making even bigger gaps in the story, you fucked up not one but 2 games. If it had gone with its own story, I bet you anything people would have been praising it more
