There's actually a new SWAT-style FPS called Rainbow Six Siege out now, and surprisingly enough it's not a terrible cowadooty shooter

I have played 1 and 2, a bit of 3 but couldn't stomach that. Are the expansions for 1 good?

insurgency and risingstorm/ro2 are both great "hardcore" fps. in fact, they are the only two modern ones that are worth a shit.
insurgency also has really good co-op, though i recommend friends.
