I liked Psychonauts but I've never backed any of his projects, don't feel like I need to because there's always going to be idiots that like throwing money away on promises. I feel indifferent to this man. That could change if he fucks up Psychonauts 2 though.

The problem is that remasters take no time or money to do, and there isn't a scope to constantly be increasing. So basically Schafer literally CAN'T fuck them up.
But every other game he's done has been over time and over budget, if it even gets released at all.
My only problem with Broken Age was that the narrative was not to my liking. I didn't like the whole "Pixar Coming Of Age" story bullshit.
Psychonauts is a known quantity, I know it amuses me and I expect Tim to deliver.
I didn't pay a cent for either of his projects, but I also very much enjoyed Massive Chalice, which is a Double Fine game released pretty recently.

broken age was a 6/10 to me, redeemed mostly by the imaginative decors and cute characters. I have no idea why the part 2 took so long though, they had already made all the art and backgrounds
