The OST is shit, yeah. I enjoyed the game though. Once you adjust to the controls and physics the arcade feel comes out a lot, but it is indeed mostly in the drifting. It's the best modern NFS but that's not saying a ton

I really want to like MW, the racing is tight, the cars are fun to use, the city is fun to race in.
But the fucking police element is just abhorrent. It's nothing but a stupid distraction that ends up eating half an hour per chase lategame. Worse yet is that you have to do this to advance in the game, instead of being a nice optional thing to maybe earn some cash.
I hate that they kept with the police in future games, I'm okay with police chasing in races, that's interesting, but anything outside is just tedious.
I'll just stick with Hot Pursuit 2

Don't expect amazingness but it ain't bad. I'm a die hard Burnout and NFS fan so my bias is a bit high but still, there's elements to be liked. Rainy courses are specially good because the traction goes to shit in a good way, usually. Cop takedowns are enjoyable too.
