Final Fantasy X is a story about a guy who isn't actually really a guy, but he time-travels 1000 years forward into another time, and while he's there he learns that he's actually the dream of a ghost of a little boy, and he never actually was alive the whole time, or something. Again, you're supposed to understand all of this without being given a proper explanation

Doesn't that one professor talk with Aeris's mother about Jenova not really being an ancient? And also I remember them referring to the whole Jenova pieces turning into Sephiroth.

A lot of people wanted CT2, and CC was not it. But I loved the hell out of it anyway, and it was not at all confusing or "deep" god damn you fucking children. Go read some real literature. Everything was laid out and resolved just fine if you paid attention at all and didn't just skip through all the dialogs. It remains an excellent game, and the best jrpg Squaresoft released on the PS1.

There an alternate world thing where you can travel in 2 worlds and the same characters have different counterpart. Like one character can be poor in one world and the same one is rich in the other.
Kid and Harle don't have any. A lot of the official art makes it look like they are. On the other hand the official art also only does artwork for like, 4 characters in the entire game and ignores the rest. Plus the ages are different. Its probably a scrapped idea or something.

I haven't finished a JRPG since IX, when I was 10 in 2000. Finished FF4/6/7/8/9 and other JRPGs like Suikoden1/CC/SO2/SoM/Xenogears.
