Nuclear Throne is pretty fun, ditto to Isaac and Spelunky. I've gotten so much time out of those three so far.
That's not even counting all the other indie stuff that I've enjoyed, along with the larger releases like Soul Sac Delta and Freedom wars.

A lot less than I did before. Buying a device for exclusives and then having those exclusives ported out is a massive pain in the ass. I love the idea of exclusives becoming a part of the past, but don't advertise something as 'exclusive' if you're going to sellout and port it as soon as someone flashes some money in your face.

I heavily regretted it, after finishing the main game I bought it for, and finding that its all overly expensive anime stuff that I've never heard of. I did the ark mod recently and now that I can use downloaded psp and ps1 games, the vita has gotten its second wind.

The vita really is a neat little system.

Jak&Daxter, Ratchet&Clank, Sly, Binding of Isaac, Spelunky, Rogue Legacy, Final Fantasy games - all of these games in my fucking pocket. My past self from a decade ago would be flipping his shit over that.
I bought the Vita for eliminating my mind-numbing amount of daily commute. For that it's done it's job. But when it comes to playing it at home for kicks - it falls flat on it's face. Useless.
Persona 4... what the fuck is the fun in these type of games? The gameplay is not even Wario Ware tier. The dialogue is bare bones and uninteresting. What even is the point?

7/10 so far. Lots of passable action games, it's also my primary DRPG machine because fuck Fatlus for stopping giving a shit about EO. Also at least playing MH on it doesn't fucking destroy my hands like both the PSP and 3DS did.
Next year's actually looking good though. The sequel to DT2 is finally a Vita title, and while these are >PS4 multiplats Exist Archive and the Vanillaware games look potential.

I love my Vita but I hate Sony for going out of their way to cripple it. Is there any CFW out yet so I can copy my games to it without using the CMA?
I like it a lot actually. Hardware wise its amazing for a hand held system. I like its "nicheness" but I wish it had a bit more support.
I'm really liking Freedom Wars a lot more than I thought I would initially. I have not put my Vita down since I started playing that really.

Pretty good.
It runs better than the PSP port upclocked to 333Mhz with more bugs on screen, better draw distance, more detailed models and at a higher resolution.
Of course it has some fps drops but it's pretty solid for me so far even in multiplayer.

Freedom Wars has the most amazing start in any game I've played on the Vita but midway into the game leading all the way to the end, it really starts to show its uglyness in a lot of areas. Still a pretty fun game that could really used a squel or an enhanced version that fixes a lot of its problems.

FW feels unfinished, and I really wish it didn't. Played the game non-stop for ages.
I want to like the thing, but fuck every dungeon crawler looks like its made on less than a shoestring budget. Even Etrian Odyssey has 3d enemies. Dungeon Travelers and Operation Abyss both look so fucking boring
