that's a tenuous comparison. Zelda and Kirby have dedicated development teams that have been working on them for like two decades. Mario has multiple teams. Kid Icarus had a specific team assembled by Sakurai that was disbanded after development. Uprising probably did well enough to justify sequels, but unlike the others it doesn't have a dedicated team at the ready to keep going. They could try to make a team but it'd be rough considering the old team has all moved on now.
Just because a character is attractive doesn't mean they deserve to be in more games.
