Pretty OK, watched them since they started on Machinima. It's been pretty magical to see them transform and move onto something bigger and better.
That said, some of their taste is pretty bad. Their arguments to justify their viewpoints are likewise also fallacious at best sometimes.
they also tend to stray away from controversial topics to stay safe. Gamergate comes to mind (they just poked fun at both sides), feminism in video games in general, ect. I wish they would actually show some interest in something so prevalent in their industry, rather than ignore it. Go with one or the other, and give evidence and counterevidence. Don't fucking mute yourselves over it, it just gives a limp-dick impression of them.
I was actually really worried that Roosterteeth would absorb and kill them. RT has become absolute shit-tier, and that's from somebody who watched them from the start as well. The minute their podcast got renamed (the Drunk tank turned into generic name # 2412), and they started filming the shit on a stage, it become obvious what they were after. It turned from a small, fan-centered and fun group of guys into a serious business interested only in pumping out videos and collecting their youtube/tshirt bux.
I really hope that doesn't happen to Funhaus. They're showing some good comedy are still entertaining despite having their flaws. Guys at Funhaus; I know you read this shit. I only got turned on to Funhaus because of a colab they did with the Creatures. Seeing as how the Creatures were becoming shittier by the video, it seemed like a good time to abandon ship and move on to something new.
I like Funhaus. They have good banter, and most of them seem down to earth (minus Joel). If I have one complaint, it's that they play GTA V far too much.
