Someone fucked up the nominations. MGSV should haven won GOTY, not Bitcher 3.
I don't see why it should have. It has plenty of fun ideas for gameplay but they aren't implemented in a way that would actually make them playable and engaging, like base building. If they actually improved it and the tower defense aspects, it would have been fun as fuck.

To be fair, Ori has an amazing artstyle. Little bland with Ori himself, but the way the world interacts with your movements is pretty well craftedthe first half anyways, it doesn't show that kind of detail after the home of the Gumon
