Nope, it's exactly the same as digital Japanese version.
Only the disc version has data install since duh, the data needs to be copied over from bluray to HDD.
Digital is literally a giant LZMA (same compression 7zip uses) compressed archive that unpacks after you download it. That's what "installing" downloaded PSN stuff is, literally unpacking a basically 7zip archive.

I'm sorry, but I think that I might be mentally retarded, because I REALLY don't understand this fucking racing mechanic. When I hold down the acceleration button, sometimes I speed up, sometimes I don't. Sometimes pressing the acceleration button really fast speeds me up, sometimes it doesn't. At first I thought it was like Daytona where you switch gears by accelerating, but that's not the case either. Do I have to slowly ramp up speed by gradually accelerating? I can understand needing to upgrade my car a little bit in order to take down the Comet Vixen, but for fuck's sake I can't understand this acceleration.
Also, why the fuck can't I get a slow acceleration during the Taxi missions? I've tried moving my finger as little as possible and I still haven't been able to figure out how to accelerate slowly.
Is it because I'm playing with a DS4 controller? Is it not picking something up? I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.
