I was an adept with 0 points in guns and I had to use that shitty shotgun with only 2 shots.
Also they forced the clown on you so I had 2 melees.
Good thing the dwarf shaman you can recruit is a buffer beast.

I had 0 gun skill and had no problems. The clown carries one and so does the extra goon they give you.

Decking is pointless in returns, and a little less pointless in dragonfall. I only played 2 hours of the third one before dropping it, so I can't say if they fixed it. But I doubt that they did.
