I have fairly realistic expectations of it. I've seen the dev play it and understand what they're going for and the limitations involved.
It's going to be a highly repetitive game, many planets will be generated very similarly, and the core mechanics may not be particularly deep, but the experience it offers is something I'm quite interested in. I enjoy exploration for explorations sake, personally. I sometimes open Space Engine just to fly around to different planets and see how they look and what their stats are. Pic related.
I have no doubt NMS will have issues and that it won't be for everyone, but that doesn't stop it being something I personally have an interest in.

I'm a comicfag, but these games have always had shit writing, so thats whatever. It's really the flow of gameplay that wrecks what should be the best game yet. It starts you off with almost every item you have by the end of AC. But it just ruins itself with forcing the tank into everything which is awkward as hell and just doesn't feel very Batman at all either.
I got it as a gift for my PS4 so I'm not too mad, but its incredibly disappointing. I'd honestly say Origins was a better experience.

KOF14 outside of graphics and GGXrdR both look like better fighting games then SFV after the Laura/Beta 2 build. Ono just came out and said they're trying to make the game as easy as possible so that good players and newcomers have the smallest gap possible. Beta 2 nerfed almost everything that was strong about the game outside of a few characters. Game is going to be mediocre or lack luster at this rate who the fuck wants to play a fighting game with barebones mechanics if all the characters have weak options and it plays like a scrubby Alpha? The damage/stun and good framedata are slowly disappearing. Hell you can't even do fun combos like tatsu into ex dp even with ex tatsu anymore.
