It had some problems like weak and derivative weapons, unmemorable music and perhaps a few annoying enemies (fucking Iron Lich Tornado) but I just love the idea of "DOOM in a fantasy setting" so much I can ignore all of that.

There only three things that should've been done, tweak numbers a little, especially for Hell Staff, because poor thing can barely own its place in the arsenal, second is throw the fuck away the firemace because its garbage and replace it with lighting staff just like one on the cover art because zapping evil mothafuckas is cool, and lastly add big ass magic book which randomly fires overporewed spell attacks so the game actually has some sort of BFG equivalent.

Hell Staff was pretty okay, it's a Plasma Gun basically and I always liked that one.
Doom is seriously bad now. It was good when it came out, it was important and influenced lots of posterior games, but it is way past its prime.
We don't think Dune II or Pitfall are some of the best games ever just because of its historical value.
All in all I'd say Shootmania is probably the best multiplayer one.

no way, the problem isn't the enemies, it is the shitty damage spread that ruining it, like crossbow dealing between 14-102 damage, if anything making slight adjustmentsaka buffswould've been better for the enemies if you fix the damage spread.

Actually, with Maulotaurs I never had much luck with Gauntlets. Their attacks on Black Plague would always kill me too fast if I got close. Maybe I should've hit and run, but the sticky effect makes it a bit hard.
