I loved halo as a kid, really. It was my teenage years. I actually own an xbone and mcc.
But I grew up and so did my friends, we almost exclusively game on pc now. We don't play any shooters with a controller anymore. Destiny and halo both gather dust. I'd preorder both in a heart beat if it was on pc, but until then I'm not paying for Xbox live anymore and im not buying anymore xbox games.

But that's not Halo 2. Honestly the campaign is a lot of fun, especially if you're playing with a buddy, but the story is really stupid at this point. Halo 2 introduced so much crap in an attempt to make the game bigger and better it kinda ruined everything which made CE so good. Also cliffhanger ending and stupid boss fight.

I'm older than 21 and I only own a single current gen system. I end up owning everything eventually, like most people do. There's really no point in buying both a PS4 and an Xbone though, since a large amount of their vidya library is identical. You end up going with which controller you prefer, or at least that's what I did. I'll buy a PS4 in a couple of years.

Isn't that the same thing? Regardless, the only modes which are missing are Oddball and KotH. The other missing modes are just silly ones like Griffball. The core modes are there, Slayer/Team Slayer And all their variants), CTF and Strongholds. More modes doesn't equate to a better game, just look at Battlefront: 9 modes and people only play 2 of them.
