Best budget CPU on the market.
Decent midrange GPU.
this would be a sensible system, if the price is right.
>>
>>319432842
it's a decent mid-level PC. You can run most games at 1080p with some compromises in settings.
It all depends on a price, if it's less than 500$, it's not that bad of a deal. But you can build your own, like a really expensive lego.

>>
>>319432842
I'll give it to you straight OP. If you're easy to please, then this rig will do it. It'll be solid, but it won't be an overachiever. You can easily get decent performance and appearance at 1080 resolutions with this build. But if you're wanting to go all out, you're better off looking higher up the food chain.

only if you cherrypick singlethreaded benchmarks. FX-6300 beats even Skyalke i3s in multicore performance at stock speeds. The fact that it's overclockable and $40-$60 cheaper makes it a much better buy than any i3.

You don't need 850w.

If you're already spending $550+ for a graphics card that's going to be obsolete in 5 years, why not just get the 980ti

If it's not stopping a Titan X from getting 60fps, then it's not going to hold back the kind of midrange GPUs you usually pair with midrange CPUs.

To all retard in this thread, AMD CPU is fine. The GPUs are the problem.

Either way, a 6300 is a goddamn ancient processor and will bottleneck your GPU so get something better instead.

Witcher 3 with everything maxed (hairworks disabled) runs at about 35-40fps pretty much everywhere. It's not the best, but it's very much playable.
