I like Revenge but it was heavily casualized from 3. Mostly because of the Traffic Check system.
Paradise is awful, btw. Nothing like the other games.

Paradise is my favourite burnout game but the races are trash compared with 3, mostly because the open map gives you a huge advantage over the AI

It's worth a tenner. It's missing a whole bunch of stuff from the last couple and the open world is more annoying than anything but if you're pining for more Burnout it'll tide you over.

I loved Paradise. The idea of races being "go from point A to point B using any route you wish" was really neat. I just wish there were more point Bs.

i loved burnout 3, and didn't like paradise. it's all clunky and has this slow shitty unskippable zoom-in-zoom-out delay between restarts.
on one hand this was on PS2 and the PC version might be totally fixed, on the other hand i doubt it, it's fucking EA, just pirate it.

I couldn't stand the "take your own route" crap, it ruined the high stakes game play for people just fucking off during races and killing the action completely if you didn't follow them, making all the improvements from 3 pointless.
It's shit, I got it in a dollar bundle and played it for about an hour.
