I got a laptop because my old job required a lot of traveling and i got tired of lugging around my old 690 machine and monitor.
I was constantly living out of motel rooms and half the time there wasn't a place to set it up at all, cheap motels have the shittiest tables/desks and they just pair them with whatever old dining chairs they have, they never even have real fucking desk chairs.
also ultrabooks are being made a lot better nowadays with 60+hrz monitors, mechanical keys, and the improvement of graphics cards overall. there have been huge improvements in the design and pricing of ultrabooks since 2012 and I would commend anyone who buys a 900 series machine over a ps4 or xbone which were my only other two options.

I don't really get the hate the combat gets. For me it's better than Dark Souls combat, and it's clearly inspired by it. It's not really bad, I actually like it a lot. The skill system is nice, swordplay is tighter than the 2nd one, and monsters are fun to fight. If you get it on PC there are multiple rebalancing mods and one complete overhaul in case you don't like the way it feels.

Made the GFX card run a lot cooler, but pooped hot air all over my other parts.
