I got the XL because i didnt have a 3ds. I really wish they had released the smaller one because i wanted it more, as this one is kinda big to fit in pockets, but its alright i suppose. i need to gt the charging cradle for it.
My brother bought the HHD bundle just for the regular sized one and its damn near perfect, it feels more solid than mine plus the matte finish is better than shiny ass shit.
The new 3d is much much better in my opinion and actually makes the 3d useable.

To everyone wanting to buy a New! NN3DS, think long and hard. There are 2 versions of it with equally shitty screens that have their own pros and mostly cons. And you have no way of knowing until you turn the damn thing on.

It's awful all around. The paint chips off after playing for ten hours. The hinge is as weak as the DSlite's. The bottom screen presses into the top screen when closed, the analog slider breaks off easily in more intense titles like Smash Bros, the select, home, and start buttons feel awkwardly placed, not to mention all three are just sharp little nubs under a shitty sticker, not real buttons at all. It also runs the slowest and has the shittiest battery life.

Most of those I'll agree with, though that first part I've never had an issue with, and I've bought quite a few and had them for a while. that being said, for whatever reason, the Fire Emblem 3DS that I got has some weird issue with the back panel, where it's now got like, a rough texture, like someone took a needle and poked hundreds of holes into it. Not sure what that's about and it's the only model I've ever had issue with like that.

I had to get one, my old 3DS was falling apart. It's a great upgrade.
At the very least they could make games with enhanced features on the New 3DS. It feels like they've completely forgotten about it since Monster Hunter.
