More than half of the appeal of zelda games is that they are light heartes adventure and having a muscled man who slaughters enemies every second just ruins it, might as well not make it a zelda game then so you dont have to make it like a zelda game.

The first bit of Darksiders II wasn't bad, funny enough it's one they stopped trying to be (semi)original and creative with the whole NotDwarves thing and went back to the boring Angel and Demons parallel does it start to get really tiresome.
The Makers were by no means anything genius or new mind, but they at least had some personality beyond just being morality personifications.
