They even tried to make an island with no markings to prompt people to explore it just like the "lost" island from JC2 but it's way over sized with literally nothing on it.

You are absolutely correct.
The map is the worst thing possible, it's beautiful but also completely empty. There is literally NOTHING to do or to be seen in 99% of the areas.
All the towns are exactly the same with the exact same chaos objects. The game could have had just one single town that rebuild itself every ingame day and the experience would have been the same.
It also baffles me how they haven't even implemented enemy jet AI. They just fly in circles and don't react to anything, even to being shot down.
They should have worked in making the gameplay actually varied, with a lot of vehicles and different kinds of cities and unique places, yet all they did was to improve the graphics.
Is the Volcano Island even used for anything at all?
I think that JC2 was one of the best games I've ever played. But JC3 is pretty much a 6/10 game that should e bought only when it's bellow 10 bucks.

Arkham Knight actually runs really well for me (40-60FPS) now that they patched it more. You just cant use more than low textures or there is a fucking awful stutter that makes it unplayable. The low textures look worse than Arkham Asylum so there's obviously vram usage issues but I have been playing it with everything else maxed out and it works good. I simply wanted to play it forever so my standards lowered.

Try disabling Fetching and Prefetch on Windows, and run it in compatibility for Win7. Doing that fixed a bunch of issues for me, and smoothed out the framerate during explosions. It's definitely far from perfect, but it's manageable, and more importantlyfun
