While I agree the pacing was wayy too fast and thus ruined the impact of a lot of scenes, the story itself is actually one of the better ones in the Tales series. Not the best (that honor goes to only 3 Tales which are Destiny 2, Abyss and Symphonia) but I would put it solely in the "great" tier, meaning its pretty much above average compared to other Tales.

Overall pretty good but I'd say import a JP copy and use a guide. You'll get more enjoyment
