I think everyone knew what to expect, given Ubi's recent track record, but so far this really looks even lazier than I'd thought. Since there are no more guns, and the emphasis on melee combat is a lot heaver, I at least expected them to make a new melee combat system but from everything I've seen so far it hasn't been expanded upon at all. No directional attacks, no power attacks, no parry or directional blocking system - still just left mouse button to swing and the whole "chain takedown" system.
