Yep. Most importantly was getting a decent mouse pad so my cursor would stay still instead of jumping around.
The keyboard I got comes with an awesome wrist rest so It's much more comfortable gaming on it and the mouse I got is a hell of a lot more accurate and stable, but the mouse pad just made it complete.
Gaming mouse definitely helped. Having buttons on the side of my mouse is great.
No, but I do not regret getting a OMG IT GLOWS mechanical keyboard at all - I much prefer the feel of it.
I don't really play anything that requires precise keyboard button pressing

Mouse helped - my old mouse was a piece of shit that I couldn't even lift without jumping an entire screen.
Mechanical keyboards are just more comfortable and durable - they don't change an incredible amount over that.
I'm in the middle of picking out a new Mech Keyboard to replace my ducky one with brown switches.

I bought a deathadder from a stock ms ball mouse and it helped me play for longer. Synapse also allows me to keybind the buttons so that's an option I guess
Will be buying a blackwidow if I don't get one for christmas.
