Mostly nostalgia now. But when they released they were marvels of special effects, story telling and overall creativity. Now I watch them because its fun noticing how wacky they are and they still can entertain on a slow evening.

Battlefront has always been casual as fuck, it never had any depth except pick a class and don't roll too much or you'll get tired.
I'll even go as far as to say that the current method of choosing your equipment is deeper than the older system, especially when you can't change it mid match so it forces you to think ahead.
