Are there ever any sort of combat beyond "grab a guy, toss 'em into the air, toss 'em at another guy"? I tried playing this a few months ago and it just seemed dull as heck. Admittedly I only got through the tutorial area, but I was just so uninvested at that point.
One of my all time favorite ds games.

All enemies are slightly stronger (need more hydraulics to pick up, more HP). All your bought equipment and upgrades carry over, including DAHAK 2.0 and Trance. Very few story elements change as well. Not enough to be groundbreaking, but enough to make a slightly different impression of the story.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can't unlock all of the boxes in one playthrough alone.
I personally spent all of my money on fishing so I could get a shit ton of revive parts (so I oculd cheese the VR boss runs) but I got bored which made me try NG+ after a year of not playing (which helped me get through it, I had forgotton nearly all the story elements so it was still interesting). There's still stuff to buy, like further upgrades and fancier DAHAK versions. Other than that, not much.

No seriously,did everything except humans live through project CODA? I see the birds made it just fine. Fish are around because loltheycanfly. What about red meat?
For some reason I can't bring myself to play past the god awful intro. I have no problems with the controls (Keyboard or controller), I do not mind the character designs despite being furry, and I like the soundtrack. I just never seem to get past the intro after rescuing Elh.
That said, just from the intro, I like Chocolat and Elh. They remind me of old 70's and 80's cartoon characters. Red reminds me of early 2000 anime characters, but in a good way. Wish we had more imaginative games like this, preferably with better robot wrestling.
