These courses feel more like Metroid than Mario. The second one is a little easier, but it's also a little longer. Both have four pseudo-checkpoints early and two real checkpoints later. They also have flashy endings and lots of optional secrets.

If anyone can make it through either of these, I'll play everything you've made as soon as I see you on the course history.

It's pretty cool to see levels with mystery mushrooms without them being handed out after every single obstacle.
It still doesn't seem to really have a coherence behind it, I stopped after dying at the hammer bro on the platform, I really didn't feel engaged in this level.

Fun level, great aesthetics, enemy placement feels pretty smart at times.
When you die and get back to the part where you have to maneuver around the bombs though, you just want to quit.

It's not hard, it's tedious.
It makes you wait and slow down every time you go back to it.
Imagine you have a relatively long unskippable cut-scene with some QTEs so you can't just do other stuff each time you died in a thing.
It's unpleasant.

I dunno man, it only takes me a few seconds to get past that.
All you have to do is jump on a bomb and then kick it towards the wall of blocks, doesn't take too much.

Sup everyone. I'll be here a bit more frequently now. Or at least until I get xenoblade. Finished the last boss stage the other night.

Inspired by Demon’s Souls. Three boss battles await, with a mushroom and checkpoint after each one. But be wary. If you die, you lose your mushroom until you’ve beaten the next boss. Gotten a lot of feedback on just how difficult the final boss is, so good luck on that one anons.

Got the idea for this by playing around with Wiggler AI under water. Underwater maneuvering skills are a necessity.

I used to have recurring dreams where I’d be trapped in an endless hallway filled with fiery ghosts and demons, floating through it on a moving platform. I used these dreams as inspiration to make what is one of my hardest levels ever.

Munchers everywhere. Hold on to your Yoshi, because you’ll need him not only to progress through this dangerous castle stage, but also for your big fight against the Muncher King himself.

I’ll be perfectly honest, I didn’t work too hard on this level. This was just me experimenting with how certain things worked underwater. It’s an extremely short, yet challenging, gauntlet of underwater fire hazards.

A level I made on launch day, using only the starting set of items. It’s a pretty simply layout, mostly just Goombas and pipes, but I’ve received compliments on its difficulty and some of the mechanics, so enjoy.

My very first level, also made using only starting pieces. Definitely my easiest level, but it should still give you something of a run for your money on your first couple of attempts.

Right? Everyone always says the same thing, that the final boss is just too hard. I had to beat the fucker three times just to upload the level, and I didn't even get that checkpoint right before him for two of those.

I'm going to have to casualize Dark Shrooms for these people, if I ever make it a series.

It was maybe alittle tedious to get him to stomp the right spot four times without dying, but it wasn't all that difficult in the end.

The Muncher King's Castle, however, was brutal but satisfying to finish.

I finished my Battleship level. It's based on the board game, Each of the five boats has an item or powerup on it that you will need to drop the blockade of bullet bills launchers that leads to the goal. If you run out of time, I have a checkpoint flag after completion of two of the boats so the benefit will be that should you time out, you will have one fewer boat to complete and a full clock.

I'm >>319367080 and playing it right now. Shit's not hard, it's just super fucking tedious and the AI is shit and sometimes just fucks you(just had the cockblast literally slow bounce to me, like 15 fireballs in a row, from way before the bricks even start without jumping once, trapping me to a death I could do LITERALLY nothing about).

The real problem here is a lack of player engagement. I don't feel like I'm fighting anything. I feel like I'm waiting. ALOT of waiting. As in I actually have no choice but to sit here and HOPE the AI triggers in the exact way to clear the path to the door. It doesn't even feel like I'm trying to survive as much as it does that I'm just fucking around until the game says okay I'll let you finish. Maybe this is what souls games are about, but I've never cared to play them.

This honestly just feels like a really bad version of the mario 3 end boss.
