I remember one Christmas I got a DS (the year the first one came out) and didn't realize I was getting one and reacted just about the same as N64 kid.
The year I got my xbox was also pretty rad (didn't know I was getting that either). RDR and Orange box were my first games and marathoned both before school started back up.
Other than that my older brother usually visits and we both get drunk and play vidya which is always fun.

As a kid I never owned a console. I asked for a PS1 one Christmas, but my grades in reading were consistently poor (C+) so my parents said no until I could bring them up to at least A-.
When the gamecube dropped to $150, I saved up christmas and birthday cash to buy one, but they wouldn't let me because my reading grades were still C+ average.
Those are the only vidya related christmas memories I have.

Life was so beautiful back then. Playing it with my brothers on that Christmas morning is one of my fondest memories. Now they live hundreds of miles away from me with jobs and their own families and I'm a worthless hikki that thinks of things like this post
