Sounds better than they'd actually be I imagine. No Nintendo game had a compelling enough story nor enough brand recognition to market with Pixar. The music was mostly forgettable for me. Colors of thr Wind was all that stood out, but it's also got a decades-long reputation and is the theme of the film.
Pocahontas was fairly generic, lawful good with a dash of feelings, she never felt complex or flawed in any respect.
I watched it recently as well, possibly for the first time, and it really couldn't grab me.
The animals and her grandma tree were also woefully underused and felt superfluous.
