Here's what they should have done. Instead of bringing back Adam Jensen, they should've brought in an entirely new MC. It would cut any ties to the previous games besides the setting, so then Eidos wouldn't have to worry about pissing off a hive of angry nerds that either their favorite character is dead or didn't show up at all.
