So when do you guys think the next Elder Scrolls game is going to come out?
Personally I am a little disappointed that Fallout 4 was released instead, but whatever. I'm thinking November 2017 seeing as how Bethesda has stuck to the October/November release dates since Fallout 3.

That sounds about right. Probably going to be set in Hammerfell or somewhere boring, as long as they don't rehash a region or worse go to a crazy lore region like Black Marsh and fuck everything up I'll be happy.

They will work on Fallout 4 DLCs whole 2016, then start development of ES 6 around late 2017. Elder Scrolls 6 won't come out before 2019 atleast.
After ESO I'm not interested in another Elder Scrolls.

Skyrim was released in 2011, Fallout 4 in 2015, that is a 4 year gap. So Elder Scrolls should come out around 2019.
We should just hope they give Obsidian another chance to make a Fallout game in 2017-18.
It's gonna be set in hammerfell I would think. Makes sense to keep it geographically close to the last two successful games.

I am going to be seriously disappointed if they remove skills in TES. It wasn't that big of a deal for me in Fallout 4 because I'm not really a huge fan and Fallout has been more of a shooter since Bethesda took over. I have been a massive fan of the Elder Scrolls since Morrowind came out when I was 12.

I won't buy their next Elder Scrolls game if they recycle the gamebryo engine again and use the shitty dialogue system with voiced protagonist.
They need a new engine badly. And they should also realize that majority of the players hate the new dialogue system in Fallout 4.

Speaking of oblivion, I remember doing that permanent enchantment exploit and giving my character permanent 100% chameleon.
Was fun for about 2 hours until I realized it ruined the game and I reloaded my save.
Fallout 3 came in between Oblivion and Skyrim and had less content then either. Hopefully we see the same pattern with the next TES game.

They're not gonna remove skills. TES skill raising system is one of the defining traits of the series. Don't say "Well they removed skills in Fallout 4." They removed stats in Skyrim and yet here they are in Fallout 4.
