Help me out, /v/, If I thought Xenoblade Chronicles (New 3DS port) was boring will I like this game? It looks so appealing, but I'm afraid it will get grindy and boring as I found its predecessor to be.

While there is some grind if you want there to be, I have found this game to be a million times more enjoyable than Xenoblade Chronicles. Everything about this game is absolutely lovely, and it is very beautiful.

This is what I wanted to hear desu senpai. I liked Xenoblade Chronicles for the first 40 hours, but felt like the world was lacking; this game seems to fix that. Also it's from 2010 so I can't really be too hard on it

It's missing its heart.
While X1 was stupider and more anime than Gears, it still had a great cast. This...much less so, especially due to the self-insert MC.
I found that the combat in the last one got stale pretty quick. How is everyone finding it this time around?

The first game was story based. This one is all about atmosphere and exploration. Read: running around grinding out quests and maps.
