I'm working at a cafe on my Laptop today. I'd like a simple game to play to kill some time and take a break. Something like Risk of Rain, or Binding of Isaac. I'd play those but I've exhausted them.
Any recommendations /v/? Something in-browser or easily downloadable?

DOOM.
Dungeon souls or nuclear throne if you haven't played that.

No mouse, unfortunately. Just a serviceable mouse pad.

Dungeon Souls, I didn't know that was released. Is that playable without a mouse? Probably not recommended right?
Or even nuclear throne for that matter?
Downwell is cheap and fun as shit

you don't need a fucking mouse with Doom, sonny.

Whoa this looks fucking sick. I'll try it out.

I'm a fag, sorry.

not like either of those but i'd play it in public without feeling like a loser: FTL

Great, can you play it satisfyingly in short bursts? I don't know a lot about FTL.

I'd say yes. The game is broken down into sectors you can explore that last about 15-30 minutes.
Thanks anons, I went with Nuclear Throne and Downwell.

>Nuclear Throne without a mouse

Dorf Fort, rougelikes too
Maybe AOE2 or an emulatoe
Spelunky
Hadn't even heard of Downwell until just this thread, this shit is pretty great.

I think I'm bad at Spelunky without a controller. I tried it the other day and I fucked up hard and often.

tales of maj'eyal or however the fuck that game is spelled
>downwell
I have no idea how they compare but it shares a similar theme / gameplay to Planet Diver.I haven't played either

Those seem to be some faster paced games, but NEO Scavenger is a great lightweight game.
You can try it out in browser on the dev's website for free
Heroes of Might and Magic III
