Definitely if its about aiming in a fps, its more precise . If you play a iphone fps its a way to test out that
I've had mine for about 2 months now, honestly it really isn't worth it.
I'd really only recommend it if you want to play certain genres of games in the living room, it's by no means a replacement for a standard controller.

It's more accurate than a analog stick, though that isn't saying much really.
The right track pad is only useful in games where you wanna use a controller but it doesn't have native controller support.
Otherwise the whole controller is a piece of shit.
Dark Souls 1 and 2 are damn near unplayable using the steam controller for instance, mostly because of the godawful left trackpad that's pretty much just a shitty D-pad and the terrible bumpers.

Mobile fps you know what i mean, CS i would definitely never use a controller. Too frustrating. Everything else tho especially single player yes . Try and get a cheap or used one on amazon or ebay

i like mine, it really depends on what you intend on using it for.
Get an Xbone controller and the wireless adapter for PC.
Otherwise, use a kb & m for where the trackpad would be used.

This OP. It's not replacement for dualshock/xbox controller, it's replacement for kb+m. If game has controller support you're better off using standard controller. It's also really customizable, but at the same time requires you to set it up for pretty much every game. So if you just want to plug & play or you play games that already have good controller support you're better off without steam controller.
