Amenotejikara was never meant to be a dimension-hopping technique. It was a short-range Flying Thunder God with a switcheroo ability added. It was only in the Gaiden where Kishimoto had to suddenly explain why Sasuke hadn't been at home with Sarada did he suddenly add the ability to jump dimensions.
Amenominaka is Kaguya's one and is a different ability to Sasuke's. Even IF Amenotejikara allowed dimension-jumping, it was straight-stated that nobody could do it without tagging along with Kaguya when she warped.

As having read the manga, watching some of the anime, and played these games, I can say this.
Plotpoints are missing in the games, but most of them are so stupid it makes the game an improvement.
Also the boss fights in-game are so much wilder than portrayed in either the show or manga. They're really fantastic.

This is true. Hell, often the game ADDS fights where there were none before. A good example is that first clash between Saucegay and Nurutu in UNS3. Doesn't fucking happen at all in the books, nor is their meeting even a particularly important plot point.
