DF just got an awesome culture update with music and poems and all that.
You can play adventure mode as an actual Bard now.
You can literally go into the wilderness, kill a monster, then go to an inn and write a song about killing the monster and perform it in front of people.

I am too, but nearly every series I get invested in goes down the shitter in some way. Maybe it's depression but I wish I could be blissfully ignorant like everybody else when it comes to vidya and just enjoy this hobby like I did as a child.
