Anyone playing Dragon Quest Heroes on PS4 or PC?

This is really the only DQ game I'm not getting at launch. Gonna wait until its 50% off on a steam sale.
But I'm really interested to play full Monk Alena.

Playing on PS4. Haven't touched a Warriors-type game since PS2, but having a blast with it. Counting it as my most pleasant surprise this year, and one of my top 5 for 2015.
I'm enjoying it. regret not starting with Aurora. Don't like the male's pesonality

The problem is the hero talks. All other DQ heroes don't talk and develop through action.

Well, it worked in DQIII and IV which had a male and female option, but both were silent.
I think it just has more to do with the musou team having to focus so much on story in a action grinding series.

The game plays like dynasty warrior right? Was never a huge fan of those games. Reason why I never finished Pirate Warriors.

Yeah that's what I meant. Luceus and Aurora are seperate characters each with their own role in the story instead of "this is the main character, are they a boy or girl"
even though they still are kind of just the same character in terms of gameplay as they have the same moves, except Luceus has fire and Aurora has Ice

I'm near the end of it and I really enjoyed it. But Alena and Kiryl are my favorite characters and they get a lot of screen time, so my opinion is biased.

There are maps, but generally the game consists of beat up enemies in a small area, either run to the next area or more enemies spawn in the same area, then fight the boss. It's pretty fast paced though.

But it's basically tower defense at that point. Go collect coins, spawn monsters on one route, go kill monsters on other route while spawned monsters protect this route. Then go back and clear this route.
Repeat.

There is no value in the way it is presented in this game. It's annoying. Especially if you are going to end up just killing shit yolo anyway.
I understand it is just the standard boke/tsukkomi Japanese comedy route, but it is especially poorly executed here. Not to mention it is the lowest tier of humor requiring the least amount of effort (and they still manage to fuck it up).

Its not. This game is really a bad introduction to the series. It would be like playing Kingdom Hearts as your first Final Fantasy game.
