Got MH4U from the nintendo sale tuesday. Just took down Shagura Magala

Mainly used the charge blade but now giving insect glaive a shot. Really enjoying the game and the monsters in it. Its a nice change of pace from 3U and its nice that with online I don't have to solo anything like Dire Moralis again.

I havent gone online yet and I'm still technically LR in village quests so I don't really know what apex shit is. I soloed the entirety of 3U already and I don't really see myself doing it again if it can be helped. Probably won't go online for the more mundane quests but I have no intention of doing a 45 minute solo run against an elder dragon again. It wasn't really fun, just tedious.

When I still had my hunting group we were all going after a chamelos (our fist one) and we all got so mad/frustrated with it to the point even our victory was bittersweet

I'm going to start using a new weapon in MH4U, and help out LR shitters at the same time.

New Gear new weapons, what weapon should I use?

I've already been using hammer, IG, HBG, and HH.
