No Just Cause 3 thread?
According to steam reviews this game has a bunch of performance problems. With that aside, can this game be a fun timesink where Fallout 4 fell short?
>>
up
>>
Buying Jc3 over Fallout 4 is pure autism.
>>
>>319201515
Any reasoning for that?
>>
>>319200759
I heard the game gets really boring really fast because you just end up blowing up all red things and liberating towns... over... and over... and over...
>>
Haven't checked this game in a while. Anyone has a ETA for the crack?
>>
>>319201985
Never ever. Denuvo. Only group that managed to crack it, gave up. And crack still took quite a lot of FPS.
>>
>>319201985
The new Denuvo version is not possible to bypass. And the only group that bypassed the previous Denuvo version gave up. Piracy is officially dead with the new Denuvo.

Performance issues? Runs @ 4k max settings for me. I'm going to assume these issues are people expecting their of console pricing pc to for some reason run it better than consoles.

>>
It's really fun

Crashed once in 8 hours and no problems besides that, you might not be as lucky though.
>>
>>319203527
Thats my understanding as well. Even with the steam refund policy im unsure if i want to drop $60 on it
>>
>>319203681
You can get keys online for way less than $60, only problem with that is I don't think the refund is available if you can't run it at all.
>>
Avalanche is a bretty good dev, I'm willing to bet the problems are ironed out by January.
>>
>>319200759

90% of those people are AMD users who didn't update their drivers and can't be bothered to google a solution to their problem.

It does have stupidly high system requirements though, and it chugs and drops frames at times even on high-end PCs.
>>
>>319203313
Yeah.
Except 3DMGAME announced that the current version of the crack runs, but makes the already fucking buggy game even buggier, so they are postponing the crack release till Avanalche's big planned patch. But yeah, "IT'S THE END OF PIRACY, WOOOOO!"

well as >>319205191 said, the game is cracked, but the base game is unstable and the crack just makes it worse, so theyre going to wait until the issues are patched out
>>
>>319200759
It's a much better time sink than fallout 4 imo, cause you can put on a podcast or something and just blow shit up. You could say it gets repetitive, if you were uncreative like some people, but the tools they give you and the tools you can unlock provide a good amount of variety for destroying things. Not for everyone, but I payed 30 bucks for it and got my money's worth, and I haven't even gotten to the mainland yet.
Also you need a fucking good PC to run it at 1080p
>>
hey guys - can my system play this game?

i5-2500k
8gb ram
GTX-580 x2 SLI
>>
>>319207336
Don't know if the game supports SLI yet, you should look into it. If it does, yes
>>
Why does this game filled with explosions, Physics base destrucion feels so fucking comfy
>>
>>319208359
Seriously one of the most beautiful relaxing games ever. Even the explosions are pretty but not so relaxing. Great atmosphere
>>
>>319200759
Just Cause 3 is very much a "make your own fun" type of sandbox. It gives you the best tools in any game to fuck around, blow shit up, do absurb action stunts.
On the other hand, if you're the kind of person who wants to just complete missions the 'best' way possible, it's going to get boring and repetetive quickly.
Also, anyone without a high end PC should avoid right now, but if you've got one performance shouldn't be an issue.
>>
>>319205761
>Keep dreaming, they clearly said they are not going to bypass this denuvo version.

its shit, made by new york B team, only redeeming point is the wingsuit challenge, it even looks worse than JC2 with that cheap shitty AA,and long ass loading times like its back in 2000
>>
>>319200759
It's gorgeous and huge. I run at ~60 fps on my 970, usually less when wingsuiting fast or blowing shit up. AMD users get shit performance I guess so if you have an AMD card consider holding your money.
The game delivers on what it promises though: big dumb shooting with huge, gorgeous explosions that I think look the best out of any game.
That being said it is fairly repetitive if you just go around liberating outpost to outpost, the upgrade system isn't good at all really, and the shooting isn't great or bad. It's more about dicking around in the world and doing dumb shit in a huge, beautiful world. If that's not what you're looking for, don't buy it.
Also the HUD is fucking trash because whenever I feel I have a moment for a nice screenshot, a waypoint smears itself all over my screen along with the province name in the top left. Does anyone know how to disable the HUD?

I think its pretty much a diverse game. Some will going to love it, some will not (Just Like Just Casue 3)

I enjoyed it, even if its repeativity at least its feels more.. action filled with the soundtrack.. when you got 5 starts and they sending in 3-4 helicopters, tanks, parachuters..

Cannot wait for the mods tho

It's crazy, the 2nd game wasn't this comfy.

There's something soothing about blowing shit up in Not Italy

aside from the HORRIBLE PERFORMANCE JESUS CHRIST this game is great.

If you go in trying to beat it you're gonna think it's boring. If you like finding the most impractical ways to complete objectives as possible you're going to love it.

The game crawls to a halt after about 30 minutes of constant play so I have to restart it. I have 12 hours played

Does putting Steam in offline mode help?

They didn't do anything risky with it, or anything to really ruin JC. Feels like a upgraded improved version of JC2.

Can see myself loading it up and playing every other week or month for a long time.

It is a singeplayer game, so pirating it won't gimp you out of anything. Sadly isn't worth the 30 bucks on g2a or whatever.
>>
>>319200759

Mods are vehicle addons, vehicle replacement, graphical overhauls, texture improvement, adding weapons...

It's a mix of spanish and italian languages and cultures, in a made up country.
