Considering the lore, blood elves are the only ones in the past 3 expansions to get anything good hordeside. Orcs and trolls are way overused for shit that nobody wants. Tauren had potential but it keeps being taken by "check out this ancient race of Tauren like creatures!" Goblins will never be anything more than the Jew of Warcraft. And undead are beyond anything that can describe edgy. The blood elves actually get real, engaging lore that isn't just more oh these fuckers again or oh look they're being evil AGAIN. They've fallen, risen, been redeemed, and been the spearhead to nearly all horde storyline progression that is actually meaningful. Not liking the people who play elves is understandable, but blood elves in and of themselves will always be the best horde race until blizz pulls their heads out of their asses.
