I honestly would buy a 3DS but I own a PC and the 3DS emulation scene is going pretty strong. Maybe I'll pick up a New 3DS when it becomes ridiculously cheap and Nintendo stops jewing with the price of their games on release.
Vita has the PSN account system and a bunch of games I like playing on the go.

Why are both the PSVITA and 3DS library so stale? Remember the golden handheld era of PSP+DS. Man. Tons of great games on both of those systems.
PS vita has persona 4 golden.
