Guy who actually sells these kinds of things, generally we refer to the ones that have no surge protection rating as 'power strips' and the ones that do have surge protection as surge protectors. The one in >>318759565 looks like one of the cheapy ones that probably doesn't have any surge rating, and if it does it's probably weak as all hell.

Its an over abundance of power, usually cause by lighting strikes.
Surge protectors dont protect against BROWN OUTS which is a lack of voltage on a line.
Last i checked lighting strikes dont pick shittholes over first world countries.

Thats the benefit of having a smaller country and getting electricity late. You have a better electrical socket because of that.

The American socket dates back to the 40s. Does your tiny yuropoor brain understand the cost of changing the electrical infrastructure of the entire US of A for a socket that is only slightly safer?

Same. But one day a friend and I fixed that problem.

We opened my window, took all the discs, and just threw the ones I didn't like into the back yard. Was a lot of fun actually sending them flying and seeing them shatter.

Best thing about bong plugs is being able to rewire and replace plug-heads.

Aus plugs are the worst, they're about the same as bong plugs on paper, but in effect they are flimsy peices of shit that literally fall out of the socket if you give it a slight tug
