God Hand is one of the best action games ever made. It's not that hard since it have dynamic difficulty on normal, the more gud you are the stronger enemies become. Controls require some time to get used to them though.

Double-Double damage was just way too much for me to handle. Shame too since they went through the trouble of giving the secret characters their own "new" cutscenes.

The PS3 download version has slowdown in some situations.

I was so disappointed in 2. The music, Boss designs and writing were right on target, but it was way too easy and was missing most of the touches that made the first so much fun. It didn't even have a replacement for Joker.

DMC2 was handed off to a bunch of complete newbies/nobodies, to the point that the writers were literally whos with only a few episodes of bad anime to their resume. The director was silently shitcanned and replaced with Itsuno near the end of development, hence why there's a few nuggets of competent game design in the latter areas, Trish is a good DMC1 Dante clone, etc.

I beat VJ on kids mode and honestly that might have been enough for me, as much as I want to try out all the other unlockable characters. Maybe if I liked the game more, I might give it a go, but while I enjoyed it, I didn't like it enough to want to truly git gud at it.
VJ might be one of the hardest games I've ever played. It's really fucking hard.
