There's been major butt hurt about Chaos as DLC but I could give a fuck.
I have bought every single Total war and every single DLC up until Rome 2.
I am not looking forward to WHTW for the simple fact I KNOW there will be 20+ factional DLCs.
I was willing to forgive them with Shogun, because the DLCs added a lot and the civil war era shit, but with the amount and price of the Rome 2 stuff + Atilla, I have completely lost hope.
All the factions they plan as DLC should in the base fucking game, but we all know they will charge 15-20usd each.

I've been playing Total War : Warhammer for the last 10 years as a mod.
If I wanted to play an unfinished, buggy, broken mess, I'll pick this up for maybe £3 with the 9 packs of DLC they'll spew out for this.

Just saying, there is a high chance you can play Chaos without the pre-order DLC. You would be actually retarded if you think there will be only 5 factions in the entire game, it will have subfactions of Greenskins, Humans, Dwaves, Vamp Counts and Chaos. The Pre-order says specifically "Chaos Warriors" not just "Chaos".

A yeah I'm that in terms of factions we might get more than 4 (5 with dlc) at launch. I've only heard them say there are 4 RACES, which may mean that each race is a group with multiple factions, like how the culture groups worked in Rome 2/Attila (ie Hellenic Successors had Ptolemic Egypt, Macedon, the Seleucids and Bactria )

When was the last time there was a good total war game? Over half of their games have been shit. Why do we get hyped about another total war game with shitty AI and garbage campaign play? I'm by no means exempt from this, I've bought every total war game since Rome 1, but why do we let hype get the better of us?

I mean, I've since turned to paradox gsg's but i still want a decent pitched battle strategy game. I've completely given up on the campaign, and only use it to stage battles, as the campaigns are always garbage.
I wish someone would come along and actually make a game with decent AI at the very least...
