Devs used the "Souls games are difficult" meme a bit too much, since 2 of the five bosses are bullshit-tier difficulty(laurence and ludwig).

When built correctly beast cutter means no enemy will get within range to hit you AND it can hit the bosses weak points no matter where they are or even hit multiple weak points.
When built correctly stake driver, simons bowblade and evelyn can one shot enemies
You notice the common thread? you have to build correctly. And even then it has its weaknesses. Whirligig's transformed L2 is a stamina hog and you can easily dodge it when someone brings it to pvp.

Kos Parasite, Bloodletter and Pizza Cutter are downright broken due to how extremely OP they are; Rakuyo is also completely fucking broken due to hyperarmor spin to win with increased hitboxes and a billion possible combos; Fist of Gratia is capable of staggering literally anything that isn't a giant boss; blacksky eye is outstanding; and the church pick, saif and amy's arm are incredibly versatile and powerful and the saif's literally become a fucking meme already due to how everyone's picked it up because it's just that good.
This just off the top of my head. You sound like someone who's never ran a single chalice dungeon or proper pvp match in your entire playthrough of the game and you're making it really obvious that you haven't ran any test whatsoever on any weapon.
