Seriously the buttons alone prevent me from going back to the old PSP models, also the screen of the PSP Go is amazing, the brightness in this thing is good enough to play under direct sunlight.
The only thing missing is a microsd slot instead of m2, but 16gb is more than enough and the new (L)ME custom firmware can run the old .DAX files that are bette than .cso and run almost as fast as .iso

There you can literally download almost every NA/EU/JAP PSP and PS1 games released on the PS Store directly from Sony servers.

I found the controls to be fine but my ex, who also had one, could hardly use it, and had to buy an extra plastic grip.
I think people were really shitty with having to use the PSN store because of the inflated prices, so they just trashed the whole thing. Its a great machine though, even unmodded
