I bought a Wii U a month after this game was shown, hopefully it exceeds my expectations but I am a bit worried its not as cheery as Xenoblade Chronicles based on the trailers and reviews. That was one of my favourite aspects of the first.

Yeah, it's a good idea to read the manual, old school style, if you don't understand something. That's where all the stuff that isn't explained is. If they had to put all of it in the game people would complain there's just too much tutorials. There's tutorial stuff at the start of X, but all you to do is have patience & just sit back, relax and listen to what they have to say. After the initial tutorial stuff, the game is completely open to you and you can go off and do what you like

Should I stick with one class(preferably the easiest one) until the end of the main story or a certain level? Or can I level at least the three first class until rank 10 and stick to the one I like?
If I do the latter, there won't be any penalty for leveling right? like monsters in the same level as me being too hard to kill.
Currently level 14, I still haven't figured which class play.
-Striker rank 10, do a lot of damage if the arts are combined correctly
-Commando rank 3, still haven't got every spell but some spell require too much TP
-Enforcer rank 4, too much assist for the IA which rarely follow with the good spell, I don't do enough damage on my own.
