There are multiple ways to deal with laws, if you can't do it then you're a fucking idiot.
The only truly bullshit laws are FFTA2's (has shit like no knockback/no hitting >20, no missing, etc), but the majority don't need to be followed because they only give extra rewards at the end of the fight and prevent mid-fight revival.

and there is another option, play the romhack that removes that bullshit
you could get this literally within around 10-20 minutes of starting the game if you went fast. it's also by the grass crest shield so you get amazing stamina recovery, AND it's also fairly near the drakes so you can go grab the red tearstone ring and minmax the fuck out of the game easy. won't work for complete casuals as you won't be able to get hit by bosses at all

The range of an assault rifle, homes in on enemies, does massive damage against everything except armor and 5 shots before you have to reload it. Literally the one downside is that it has a low ammo capacity.

There is 0 reason to fail so badly you break their laws. It could have a no attacking law mission 1 and it'd still be beatable.

Did you ever junction the CARD command to a character? You could basically weaken enemies in battle and turn them into cards, which were better than the ones from the starting deck.
